I am proud and delighted to have been asked to be a Patron of AT The Bus. The charity has been born from a brilliant idea, and one which will reach children who might otherwise have remained beyond the reach of any such help. I ardently believe in the healing powers of creativity – and I know what can be achieved for children’s psychological and emotional wellbeing when they are given creative time and resources. AT The Bus offers them a serene space in which to explore their imaginations, and to express what they feel and think in a safe, uncritical and non-judgmental environment. The charity will, I’m certain, bring new hope and health to the children it seeks to find and serve…children who badly need to be allowed to find their voices, in whatever form, and have that utterance heard, aired and shared.
